Updates all changes to provider numbers, contracts, etc. in the contract database.
Completes and distributes W-9 forms.
Monitors and updates demographic changes that affect contracts with any changes in address, phone number, location, etc. in contract database.
Responsible for assisting in adding contracts to the contracts data base system (Meditract) along with the other Managed Care team members.
Files all new applications for each new facility and branches, including credentialing applications, Disclosure of ownership forms, W-9s etc.
Assists in the maintenance of accurate user ids and site information in Meditract.
Distributes such changes to the payers in a timely manner.
Assists in mailing and tracking contracts to payers.
Demonstrates a positive, flexible, customer comes first attitude.
Manages special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
Assists with the load of all appropriate information in systems for the Revenue Cycle Department to access for eligibility|authorization|billing guidance.
Attends conference calls as needed during contract negotiations.
Tracks all activities in a spreadsheet or Help Desk Ticket.
All other duties assigned.
Formal Education: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience Requirements
College education preferred but not required
Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to handle multiple tasks with ease and professionalism.
Must possess administrative, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Must have a thorough working knowledge of computers and applicable office software including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), internet research, and database programs.
