Full Job Title: Point On Call HCHB Generalist - Remote - PRN Position - Internal Candidates Only

Provides support remotely to field users. Pushes workflow through after business hours. Responds to telephone, fax, email requests for specific task completion. Has good knowledge of HCHB workflow and processes. Ensures that all field users have timely resolution to requests or issues encountered. Explains to field users workflow process to assist all users in a good understanding of the HCHB process flow. Primary job functions do require problem solving skills Internal Candidates only. Mostly weekend shifts and holidays. Remote position working from home - can live in any state.

Essential Functions

* Completes POC tasks w ithin 30 minutes of request. Data entry and w orkflow of referrals w ithin 1 hour of receiving all information* Escalates appropriate requests to manager w hen a resolution is not identified by user. (Escalation to help desk may only occur after discussion with manager.)* Enters data into the system correctly.* Proficient in HCHB w orkflow process* Monitors email, fax and phone system throughout shift* Prioritizes incoming task according to patient needs* Meets minimum productivity requirements of 50 tasks per w eekday, 100 per day on w eekends and holidays* Participates in department staff meetings and educational sessions.* Other duties as assigned by director.


Formal Education: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience: 1 yearLicense, Registration, and / or Certification Requirement: NoEducation Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must have strong computer skills and excellent telephone communication skills and be able to type.
